JEE is won on Physics, Chemistry and Maths practised daily, not on hours of lectures. Main vs Advanced: two different exams
- JEE Main (NTA) — objective, fast, broad. Rewards accuracy and time management across many questions. The gateway to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, and the qualifier for Advanced.
- JEE Advanced (the IITs) — fewer questions, far deeper. Multi-concept problems, multiple-correct and numerical types, negative marking that punishes guessing.
